Challenge2Society’s vision is to inspire and motivate 1 Billion community service hours.
In honor of my grandmother, who recently passed, and in recognition of “National Donate Life Month”:
This petition’s goal is to have 10 Million signatures that hopefully become new organ and tissue donors.

3. Challenge your friends to become organ and tissue donor
4. Please consider a financial gift of support
· One donor can help up to 50 people.
· An average of 18 people die each day waiting for Organ donations
· Currently over 200,000 are waiting for organ/tissue donations.
· All major religions support organ, eye and tissue donation as an unselfish act of charity.
· Your commitment to donate will not interfere with your medical care.
· People of all ages and medical histories should consider themselves potential donors. Your medical condition at the time of death will determine what organs and tissue can be donated.
· Donations should not delay or change funeral arrangements. An open casket funeral is possible.
· No cost to the donor's family or estate for donation.
· It is possible to donate life to others as a living kidney or partial liver, lung intestine or pancreas donor.

Hey,Its Feb 6, 2010. Snow is covering much of Virginia as I type this... { Really think this should end up being a blog section of the site, Vs main page material; however the site statistics are showing quite a few new members to the site} Thought I'd reach out to them...

Challenge2Society has a simple idea- Inspire and motivate the world to donate 1 Billion community service hours. We hope to do this, by creating an easy to use site that allows people to search for volunteer opportunities that matter to them. We have access to over 500,000 opportunites basically everywehre in the world, some can even volunteer their time while they sit at their computer drinking a cup of coffee.
Our challenge- is for people to pledge to volunteer at least 1 hour a year; some will decide to volunteer 1 hour per month, and others will aspire to 1 hr per week. All donated time helps.

I am asking for people to submit articles that can be placed on the Challenge2Society site highlighting volunteering efforts that we have done and to show the great work that our members are doing.
